Feedback Received from a Few of Our Clients
As a result of coaching with Marilyn, I learned how to think through my approach and my goals when dealing with challenging conversations. Role playing with her really helped me feel more confident dealing with team members and those I coach especially with sensitive issues.

If you need someone to help you put your role or career in perspective, then no need to look any further. Forming a business coaching relationship with Marilyn was the best investments I’ve made in my professional development to-date. Marilyn was able to coach me on so many levels; she offers great insight in a very professional and sympathetic manner. I highly recommend Marilyn’s services to anyone looking for professional coaching, meeting facilitation, or career guidance.

Many thanks for an interesting and powerfully informative session this morning. You have an energizing combination of kicking butt and holding hands.

My first face-to-face meeting with my new boss went well due in great part to your coaching. Each of the unit directors was able to produce a useful visual of their work in short order and it helped him to understand their units. The following day at our Branch Retreat, the Directors used the visuals they had created to explain their unit to their new colleagues. Your coaching is making me more productive, faster and this experience means you also influenced and helped to inform my new boss and a whole branch of people. Thank you so much for all your support.

I just want to say thanks for the Customer Service Workshop that you did with us. After the workshop, I've identified some of the problem areas that I should work on - such as making sure that I think positive all the time, take a deep breathe when I'm feeling stressed, and most importantly, always remember to reassure and show understanding of the customers. I have been practicing these when I'm on the phone , as well as dealing with customers at my other part-time job, and I see some improvements - customers seems to be a bit easier to handle and calm down a bit quicker than the approach that I used in the past. Thank you so much!

On behalf of the board of CINIM, thank you for facilitating our retreat on April 27th. You have an easy leadership style that helped us find our way. We achieved our goals and more, making for a very successful retreat. We appreciate your support. It was a pleasure working with you.

In a job environment where I have few people ‘looking over my shoulder’ it’s nice to have someone other than myself to be sort of accountable to. It adds some structure. Also, I have more awareness of what I don’t know and can learn in the area of sales process, planning & relationship management.

Marilyn, Thanks for the tip. By the way, thanks for getting together just before Christmas. You are a very inspiring person to be around. Every time we get together, I learn something important, and go away feeling like I can conquer the world. I was almost scared to come to work yesterday when it hit me that I was starting over again at zero. I have a great prospect funnel, and things look promising, but when the scoreboard reads zero, everything that happened last year becomes a moot point, and the enormity of the task ahead is daunting. I'm certain that I will achieve all the company goals, but my personal ones for this year are very aggressive. Every day I ask myself, "where's the next business coming from?" This year will be anaerobic for 12 months, kind of like 365 back-to-back Ironman races. Don't believe people who tell you "it's the journey, not the destination"; all that matters is standing on the centre of the podium at the end of the race. Not only does nobody else remember who finished second, even I can't remembe the races I didn't finish first. Gotta go sell something now. Have a great day!
